Affiliate Disclosure
As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. espresso.compare participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program and other affiliate programmes. Some links on this site are affiliate links: if you buy through one, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you.
What this affects
It funds the site. There is no advertising on espresso.compare and no paid placement, so affiliate commissions are how the database is maintained.
What this does not affect
- Rankings. Every ranking on this site is produced by a published deterministic formula applied to manufacturers' published specifications. Commission rates are not an input to it, and no ranking has ever been adjusted for a commercial reason.
- Which machines are included. Machines are included because they are sold in the US and the manufacturer publishes a specification, not because they are available through an affiliate programme. Several machines here cannot be bought through any programme we participate in.
- What we say about them. Pros and cons are derived from stored specifications. If a machine has no PID, no grinder or a sealed brew group, that appears on its page regardless of what it pays.
- The price you pay. Affiliate links never cost you more.
How links are marked
Outbound retail links carry rel="nofollow sponsored" and open in a new tab. Disclosure appears on every page that carries a commercial link, above the point at which you would click one, in line with FTC guidance on clear and conspicuous disclosure.
Prices
Prices shown are the manufacturer's published list price plus any retail snapshots we have recorded, with the date we recorded them. Retail prices change constantly and we make no representation that a price shown here is current — always confirm on the retailer's own page before buying.
